Elegant and classic, marble is a softer stone than granite, and typically has a polished surface. While not as heat resistant as granite, it is highly resistant to water and grease, making it an ideal material for showers, floors, fireplace surrounds, and other ornamental furnishings. Available in a range of colors, marble is used extensively in both residential and commercial settings. Marble is also available in tiles (12” x 12” x 3/8”).
