Travertine, which can be used in interior or exterior settings, has its beginnings in limestone. Limestone is the result of millions of years of seashells and bones or sea creatures settling as sediment on the ocean floor. Hot, pressurized water dissolves limestone, forms mud beds on the earth's surface, and once cooled, crystallizes into travertine.
Travertine is an affordable stone and a good choice for both interiors and exteriors: floors, countertops, vanities, and much more.

Limestone provides simplicity and durability for all projects, particularly for floors, bathrooms, walls and building facades. Limestone surfaces tend to be very tough, non-porous and non-slip. Limestone is very resistant to wear, including etching and scratching.
Limestone is noncrystalline (as opposed to granite and marble) and has a more uniform composition, texture, and structure. Limestone is available in different sizes and thickness, in a range of colors. Limestone surfaces do not take polishes.

Unique beauty
No two pieces of stone are alike. Colored veins, bits of mica and other semi-precious stones and natural qualities make each stone slab an individual, natural piece of art. Samples shown on this page are for approximate colors and surfaces only; your stone will have its own unique character. |
