Quartz stone is a man-made material primarily composed of natural quartz aggregates, with a small percentage (7%) of pigment, resins, and other binders. Quartz stone is actually harder than natural stone, and, as it is stain-proof and heat- and scratch-resistant, it is almost maintenance free. This makes it ideal for kitchen countertops, as well as a range of other high-use residential and commercial applications.

Quartz stone has the same properties as granite (including its extreme durability and low maintenance), but is more uniform and consistent in color. It also is available in colors not available in granite, including more blues and grays.

There are three major brands of quartz stone on the market today; Blue Rock supplies quartz stone through Caesarstone, which is superior in color, affordability, and availability. In addition to supplying this product through our Stone Center, we are one of a select group of fabricators for this type of stone, which is typically available only through kitchen dealers.

Our Stone Center offers a complete state-of-the art fabrication shop where we can make your custom plans a reality. Visit us to see more samples and examples of our work, or just fax us your plans (207-828-3723) and we'll give you a free estimate.
