Granite Steps: Granite Steps are a New England classic.

We stock Stanstead Gray and special order Caledonia both produced with a split face finish with a thermal top. Blue Rock can even prepare your base, as well as provide the installation of your granite steps. Please feel free to contact a representative today for a free estimate.

All steps, platforms and filler pieces come in 7″ thickness. All Steps are 13″ in width. All platforms are 36″ in width.

Blue Rock Stone Center will set your granite steps in place.

Blue Rock is not responsible for settling of steps on customers base.

Requirements for Base Preparation

The base must be level and set at the proper height so the steps will reach the desired location relative to your door.

Gravel Base A gravel base must be at least 12 to 18 inches deep of crushed gravel or processed base. The gravel base. The gravel base should be compacted every 4 to 6 inches. The gravel pad must extend 12″ beyond the size of the steps on the front and each side.

Concrete Base When concrete is used, the pad should be 4 to 6 inches thick and extend 3 inches beyond the steps in the front and each side.

Please ask one of our staff for delivery and installation pricing.  Customers are responsible for any damage caused by a Blue Rock vehicle off a public way. Blue Rock reserves the right to cancel any installation which is not properly suited or prepared to receive the steps. Proper base preparation will help avoid settling and shifting of your granite steps and will insure beautiful end results.
